Privacy Policy

1. About this document

Zephyr & Baram-Gyeol(the ‘Operator’) operates World Fortune (worldfortunes.com, the ‘Service’) and explains personal information processing under Article 30 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

The Service has no registration or login. Questions, selected cards, hand/face photos, dream text, birth dates and birth times entered on screen are not sent to or saved on the Operator's server.

2. Personal information processed

When the website opens, the hosting provider's web server may process automatic access logs: IP address, access time, requested URL and browser information.

The screen sends one country-check request to show a regional guide. It receives only the country code inferred by Cloudflare from the connection IP and uses it for the display. The Operator does not store the country code or IP. VPNs can make the connection country differ from actual location; it does not establish language or nationality.

Questions, cards, hand photos and markings, face photos and chosen areas, dream text and feelings/themes, birth information and selected traditions, optional gender, Roman-letter names, Zi Wei birth information, both Weton birth dates, transit dates/times and selected time zone are used only in the visitor's browser and are not transmitted to the Operator.

Cloudflare Web Analytics collects page-loading performance, visited URLs, referrers, country and device/browser/operating-system types for visitor statistics. It does not use cookies or browser storage, and excludes questions and hand photos entered on screen.

3. Purposes

Access logs are processed only to deliver the Service, investigate errors and prevent abnormal access.

Visitor statistics are used only to understand which pages are read and how quickly they load, in order to improve the Service.

4. Processing and retention

The Operator does not separately download or retain access logs. The hosting provider retains them for delivery and security as needed under its privacy policy.

Screen input is used only in the browser and disappears when you restart or close the window.

5. Disclosure to third parties

The Operator does not disclose personal information to third parties, except where specific legal provisions apply.

6. Processing providers and international transfers

The Operator entrusts website hosting and delivery to Cloudflare, Inc.(Cloudflare Pages).

When a visitor opens the website, access logs are processed by the hosting provider's delivery network and may be transferred internationally. As processing/storage needed to provide the Service, the following information is disclosed under Article 28-8(1)(3) of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

Transferred items: access logs (IP, access time, requested URL, browser information) and visitor statistics (page URL, loading performance, country, device/browser/operating-system types).

Countries, timing and method: United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, Germany, Portugal, France, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, India, Mexico, Malaysia and Sweden, as listed by the hosting provider for Korean users. Transfer occurs over the network when the website is accessed.

Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (contact: dpo@cloudflare.com).

Purpose and retention: website delivery, security, incident response and visitor statistics; retained for as long as necessary for those purposes.

Refusal and effect: you may decline international transfer by not accessing the website. You will then be unable to use the Service.

7. Deletion procedures

Access logs are deleted without delay when their retention period ends or purpose is fulfilled. Electronic files are deleted by methods preventing recovery.

8. Your rights and how to exercise them

Visitors, including legal representatives of children under 14, may request access, correction/deletion or suspension of personal information processing. dongpoongi@gmail.comRequests sent there will be handled without delay.

The Service does not retain identifying information such as names or contact details. Details such as access time may be requested to verify and handle a request.

To remember your selected screen language, localStorage saves one wf-language-preference code (ko, zh-Hans, zh-Hant, en or ja). It is not sent to a server and is deleted when site data is cleared. Language-specific URLs remain usable if storage is blocked.

9. Automatic collection tools (including cookies)

The Service does not use cookies.

Session storage retains only wf-v4-guide-seen to remember whether the guide window was shown. This is not sent to a server and is cleared when the tab closes. You can block site storage in your browser settings without preventing use of the Service.

Cloudflare Web Analytics also does not use cookies or localStorage.

10. Security measures

The website is delivered through an encrypted HTTPS connection.

Inputs and photos are designed not to be sent to a server. No advertising tools are loaded; visitor statistics use only the hosting provider's Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Access to hosting administration is limited to the Operator.

11. Items that do not apply

The Service does not process sensitive or pseudonymized information. Face photos appear only on the visitor's device; they are not sent to a server and facial features are not extracted or classified. Gender for birth-trigram calculations is optional, used only for calculation on the device, and is not stored or transmitted.

The Operator does not directly collect Korean data subjects' personal information from abroad.

13. Effective date and changes

This policy takes effect on September 23, 2026and applies from that date. Changes and their effective date will be announced on this screen.

Background music preference

Background music attempts to play when a page opens. If your browser blocks autoplay, use the Play button. Your pause preference is stored in sessionStorage for navigation within the same tab and is cleared when that tab closes. This preference is not sent to our server.
